Privacy Policy

Effective September 10, 2026

Who this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how ClaimRadar (claimradar.co), a product operated by Vomero LLC ("ClaimRadar," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the site. It applies to anyone who visits claimradar.co, registers an account, runs a breach check, or subscribes to the $22/year Filing Assistant plan.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount generated by using the site:

  • Account info. The name and email address you submit when you register. Registration doesn't use a password — your account is identified by your email.
  • What you tell us you've used. The companies, banks, employers, gyms, or providers you select or describe (including anything you type into the "what have you used" matcher) so we can check them against the settlements we track.
  • Breach check results. When you run a breach check, your email is checked in real time against Have I Been Pwned's public breach database (see "Third parties" below). We don't store the detailed breach results ourselves beyond what's needed to alert subscribers to genuinely new breaches.
  • Payment information. If you subscribe, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe passes us only what's needed to know your subscription is active (and, for our own compliance records, your billing name/email as Stripe has them).
  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or chat assistant, we receive whatever you type in order to respond to you.
  • Basic technical data. Standard web server and hosting logs (like IP address and browser type) collected automatically by our hosting provider, Netlify, for security and reliability — not used by us for advertising or profiling.

We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels. Your signed-in session is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and is only used to recognize you when you return.

How we use your information

  • To create and maintain your account, and remember what you've told us you've used.
  • To match you against the settlements we track and, on the $22/year plan, show you the full details for anything you matched.
  • To run the breach check you request, and — only for active subscribers — to re-check periodically so we can alert you to a genuinely new match, a new breach for your email, or an approaching deadline.
  • To process payment and manage your subscription through Stripe.
  • To respond to messages you send us, and to power the chat assistant when you use it.
  • To keep the site secure and working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send your name or email to any law firm listed on ClaimRadar unless you choose to send it yourself (see the "Contacting a firm" section of our trust page for how that works).

Third parties we use

Running ClaimRadar means relying on a small number of service providers, each of which only receives what it needs to do its job:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Resend — sending account, contact-form, and monitoring alert emails.
  • Have I Been Pwned — the public breach database used for real-time and periodic breach checks.
  • Netlify — website hosting and the backend functions that power the site.
  • Anthropic — powers the AI matcher, the chat assistant, and the AI Filing Assistant; the text you type into those features is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms. We don't share your information with anyone else, and never for advertising purposes.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page, which permanently removes your saved matches and account record (and cancels an active subscription first, if you have one).

Your choices and rights

  • Access or update. You can review and update what you've told us you've used from your account page at any time.
  • Delete. You can delete your account and data yourself, any time, from your account page.
  • Alert emails. Every monitoring alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that turns off future alerts without deleting your account or affecting your subscription.
  • Other requests. If your local law gives you additional rights over your personal information (such as a right to access, correct, or delete data we hold), contact us using the form below and we'll honor valid requests to the extent required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

ClaimRadar is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use ClaimRadar after a change means you accept the updated policy.
